Shah Sachal Sami Foundation (SSSF) is a non-profit organization, registered under the voluntary social welfare agencies ordinance 1961, working in the rural areas of District Nawabshah (Benazir bad) of Sindh, Pakistan. The aim of the organization is to provide participatory development services to the most marginalized communities of
the area who are backward in overall development process. The main thrust is to empower the deprived peoples of rural areas through improving their socio-economic status and enhancing their production capacities and income generation sources and
resources. In this regard, formation of Peasant Worker Groups, (PWGs) Village Committees (VCs), and Cooperatives of Rural Communities are the core strategic aspects of SSSF implementation process. The target groups are peasant women,
landless and small farmers, and labor workers as they are the 90% of rural population and are living at low standards of life. The target community is organized and motivated to initiate development process through mobilization, skill development,
and optimal utilization of the available resources. SSSF facilitates communities in the process of income generation through provision of microcredit. Besides microcredit SSSF also extends services in the areas of agriculture, food security, education and
primary health & hygiene.

Shah Sachal Sami was established in February 1989 in a small village of Union Council Chanesar, District Nawabshah. The organization was founded by educated youth in the village, who aimed to improve the living standards of the farmers through
creation of awareness. SSSF was formally registered on 16th October 1994 under Societies Act 1861 as social welfare organization. Since inception, numbers of initiatives were carried out to strengthen small farmers to improve their socioeconomic condition. For a period of ten years, SSSF office bearers worked voluntarily and provided welfare services to the beneficiaries.
